Since the last generation of cards, the fact that the Digital plus card was matched with the receiving equipment, so like Sky Uk it has meant that you cannot use the card in a different receiver.

You can now buy a matching D+ card and CAM , to fit into your existing (providing its a CI type ) receiver. So when you elect to go for D+ you dont have to put up with an inferior box without all the fancy features you paid for when buying your top notch multisatellite receiver.
